Welcome to RICS Fellowship

Liliane Van Cauwenbergh

"RICS Fellowship is an honoured position - an acknowledgement of a property professional's dedication, experience and achievements. MRICS upgrading their status to FRICS will join a distinguished list of Fellows who stand out among their peers, and in the eyes of business and the public, as some of the world's leading professionals."

Liliane Van Cauwenbergh
Managing Director EMEA

RICS Fellowship applicants are expected to show the highest level of accomplishment during their career and to have made significant contributions to RICS or the profession in general. The attainment of Fellowship should be the goal to which all chartered surveyors aspire.

What are the steps to be taken?

  1. 1. To apply, please request your MyFellowship log-in from Marina de Nevares on
For members in the Middle East, please contact Joanne Marsh at jmarsh@rics.org
For members in Africa, please contact Helen Andrews at handrews@rics.org

Once you receive your log-in you can start the process:
  2. 2. Select 3 characteristics from the list in section 3 of the Applicant Guide.
  3. 3. Provide evidence for each of your 3 characteristics.
  4. 4. Submit your CPD record for the last 12 months.
  5. 5. Sign the declaration form.
  6. 6. Pay the application fee

Using your designation

You may use the designation FRICS once you have received a positive answer from the Fellowship Assessment Committee. RICS will then send you a new membership card and diploma. Similar to your MRICS designation, you may use your FRICS designation after your name (subject to Bye-Law 13 in the RICS Rules of Conduct) on letter headings and business stationery as long as you remain a chartered surveyor.
